Burdastyle 07/2011 Oversized Top in 100% Silk

Lovely Lenka has made another version of the Burdastyle 07/2011 Oversized Top, this time using Tessuti's Italian digital print silk satin 'Round and Round' for the lower front piece and Italian silk georgette 'Animal Love' for the upper front to back piece.

The combination of the two silk prints work really well, together with the detail of black satin bias binding used to finish off the neck, sleeve and seam edges. This pattern made up in silk is stunning, and could work really well with a plain solid and sheer in a variety of colours or simply one colour way.

I don't think I gave that pattern a second glance, but now I see the potential! Very, very nice.
